Audi Q5’s facelifted version has been unveiled by the German carmaker, which is set to launch in India in 2021. The best selling SUV in the premium mid-size segment, the upgraded version is all the more exciting.

The optimised SUV has a sporty character and comes with a wide array of infotainment and assistance options.
Exterior
The sharpened exterior design boasts a rear light cluster featuring digital OLED technology for the first time worldwide. The OLEDs are efficient organic light-emitting diodes that generate a homogenous light surface.

The octagonal singleframe grille is now shallower and appears wider than before. The side air intakes have a better height than its predecessor and are structured by trapezoidal insets.

A new trim element between the light clusters and a new diffusor insert with a horizontal fin have been installed in the rear of the car. The advanced line comes with chromed vertical ribs in the singleframe and the rear bumpers now come in silver instead of black.
Interiors
Inside the car, technology has clearly been the prime focus. The car is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen unit, which in the previous version was 8.3-inches.

The infotainment system has Audi’s Modular Infotainment Platform, which means it works around five times faster than the older Q5.

An exciting element is that it connects directly to Amazon’s Alexa platform as well. There’s also an option to activate extra features like the Navigation Plus—this offers high-resolution images via Google Earth or through the MyAudi app.
