Birthday girl Deepika Padukone’s luxurious lifestyle

One of the highest paid actresses in India, Deepika Padukone celebrates her 35th birthday today. Born in Denmark to mother Ujjala and Badminton player Prakash Padukone, Deepika made her Bollywood debut in 2007 opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om. Her bright and cheery on-screen presence was much admired. And she won the Filmfare award for Best Female Debut.

Since then, Padukone’s choice of movies such as Cocktail, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Padmaavat and Chhapaak, coupled with her bevy of brand endorsements has made her a desirable personality in the space of cinema, fashion and luxury.

Not long ago, in 2017, Padukone also made headlines for her first Hollywood project XXX: Return of Xander Cage and her perfect chemistry with American superstar Vin Diesel that the fans absolutely adored. Last year, Padukone’s conquest in the West continued with her becoming the first Indian celebrity to star in the French luxury brand Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall 2020 campaign alongside Sophie Turner and Emma Roberts.

After having a lavish wedding with actor Ranveer Singh in 2018, at Lake Como, Italy, one of the hottest wedding destinations in the world, the star had not one but three receptions for her family and celebrity friends. The couple lives in a 4BHK apartment in Beaumonde Towers in Mumbai’s Prabhadevi, which was bought by Padukone for a staggering 16 crores back in 2010.

Looking at Padukone’s personal garage of Audi Q7, BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Maybach S500 and Mini Cooper, it seems she is a luxury car lover. Her handbag collection is equally luxurious too, including Gucci, Hermes, Off-White, Fendi and Burberry.

Padukone’s tryst with luxury and glamour has also often been witnessed on global red carpets, including Met Gala and Cannes where she has sported haute couture by designers Zuhair Murad, Ralph & Russo, Prabal Gurung and Giambattista Valli.

DP’s entrepreneurial run is quite impressive too. She founded Live Love Laugh Foundation in 2015 to address the stigma associated with depression and anxiety and runs her own production company KA Entertainment as well. She also launched a ready-to-wear fashion line All About You on Myntra, which the Walmart-owned e-retailer has now bought 100 per cent stakes in recently. On the brand endorsement front, Padukone has been the face of Van Heusen, Vistara, Tanishq, Nike, Axis Bank, Lodha Group, L’Oreal Paris and Coca Cola.
