Her role of Alex Parrish on the ABC show Quantico that aired from 2015 to 2018 was well received in America. She went on to win the People’s Choice Award – Actress in a New TV Series for Quantico (2016) and Dramatic TV Actress for Quantico (2017).
Her popularity also got her several appearances on famous American talk shows like The Ellen Degeneres Show and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
The star has been vocal about issues such as education, feminism and hunger; and in 2016, was appointed UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador. She was introduced as an ambassador during the 70th-anniversary event at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
She debuted in Hollywood with Baywatch (2016), where she played an antagonist alongside stars like Dwayne Johnson and Zack Effron.

Today, the 38-year-old actress announced she has been cast for the English remake of German-language 2016 movie SMS Fur. She wrote on Instagram, “So excited to kick start this amazing movie with such incredible people! Jim Strouse, Sam Heughan, Celine Dion. It’s my honour. Let’s go Dich.” The movie is tentatively named Text For You.
