Founder, Eris Home Sanjana Lunia studied Business Management from the University of Southern California where she gained insights about the business world, right from accounts and operations to strategy and communication. Leveraging this experience, Lunia worked as a Group Treasury Advisor at Landspace Construction, gaining experience in managing asset allocation and fund requirements. She then went on to work as the Marketing Director for Eris Global, a sustainable and ethical fabric manufacturer and exporter to the US and the Middle East. Lunia founded her own venture Eris Home, a retail venture of Eris Global thereafter. The main philosophy of the brand is its belief that luxury shouldn’t kill, and so the brand sources its materials ethically calling it the “Ahimsa Silk” fabric used in all of Eris Homes Collections. Differing from the infamous quote “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”, Chef refers to chocolate as her true best friend. She launched La Folie in 2014, where she showcases her passion for chocolate in a variety of original, haute couture-style renditions of French delicacies. Over the years, she and her team of artisans have combined delectable Grand Cru chocolate from across the globe with French savoire-faire. Today, she is considered to be a revolutionary force in the art of modern pastry and chocolate-making. She did her training at the École Grégoire Ferrandi, one of Paris’ most reputed culinary schools, post which she worked with French Pastry Chef Pierre Hermé, where she learnt about the art of simplicity. Aside from Hermé, Chef Sanjana has also worked with the top echelon of the culinary world including Patrick Roger, Olivier Bajard, and Chefs Cristophe Michalik and Alain Ducasse at Hotel Plaza Athénée in the Dorchester Collection.
