Sheetal Zaveri Founder, Sheetal Zaveri by Vithaldas G reat-granddaughter-in-law of the iconic jeweller Vithal Das Zaveri, Sheetal Zaveri formally launched her brand in 2018. Since then, she has decked the who’s who of the film industry and public figures, with her jewellery that is like a breath of fresh air. For someone who has to live up to a formidable legacy, where Vithal Das Zaveri was the personal advisor to the Nizams and Rajas of Hyderabad, she has brought her own personality into the 200-year old business, creating something new altogether. Today, her brand focuses on a unique combination of two- toned jewellery, a combination of exquisite antique pieces and 92.5 per cent silver articles dipped in gold polish. Her brand serves the next generation when it comes to everyday pieces as well as heirlooms. When not working, Sheetal Zaveri loves to be at home, “I love to wind down with my kids. Believing that he was destined to be in the business, Sacheti says, “I look forward to Mondays, I believe if you love your work, every Sunday is a Monday, and every Monday is a Sunday,” His tryst with gems began from the day he was born, the same day that Jaipur Gems was established in Mumbai. Sacheti’s creations have been worn by celebrities across the globe like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, Priyanka Chopra, and Deepika Padukone. He believes luxury is simply being in the moment. “Every moment is a luxury, therefore, time is the biggest luxury,” says Sacheti. A design graduate and a jeweller by profession, Sacheti also has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Kanpur. His advice to entrepreneurs just starting out would be “It’s okay to try and fail, but never lose heart.
