Fendi launched its special capsule collection, which features Jackson Wang, singer, songwriter and member of the popular South Korean-Pop boy group Got7. Wang, who is also the Italian luxury label’s Chinese brand ambassador is seen lending his refreshing musical persona to Fendi’s fashion line, directed under the creative inputs of Silvia Venturini Fendi.
Jackson Wang and Fendi enjoy a long-running association. The singer performed his single Fendiman at Fendi’s Fall/Winter 2019 menswear showcase in Milan and made a style case like no other. In their latest teamwork, Jackson co-designed the brand’s new capsule, which accents the comfortable street-wear ensembles with a luxurious twist. The collection features everything millennials need in their wardrobes, from clothing, footwear to urbane accessories.
Liberal use of velvet and chenille defines the array of formal and easy-going outfits like jumpers, t-shirts and trousers and a dapper suit with a relaxed fit. The newly introduced baguette bag for men, baseball hats, a clutch, running sneakers and slide sandals make for its diverse and athletic accessories.
The key highlight in the entire range is Fendi’s iconic FF logo dominated by a monochromatic palette of black which offers an always-in-trend fashion tangent to the loyal consumers of Fendi. The campaign with Jackson has been shot against regular but aesthetic backdrops elevating the casual-luxe appeal.
To make it one-of-a-kind collaboration with the globally famed music artist, Fendi embedded FENDI Team Wang logo in all its pieces. Fendi x Jackson Wang is a limited-edition capsule and is available in 33 select Fendi stores across the world and can also be browsed online.
In the zest of its brand new launch, Fendi enlisted Chinese artist Oscar Wang to exclusively design FENDIDI, an artistic panda installation of over 3 meters high, placed at the International Finance Square in Chengdu, China. The panda model is peppered with Fendi’s black and white logo and sports the trendy men’s cross-body baguette.
