Evoking images reminiscent of Goyard’s Chevron and Fendi’s Double-F, Versace’s new maze-inspired geometric print is dubbed La Greca. The trademark is a reinvention of its Greco motif, part of the brand’s logo.
Model Gigi Hadid makes her first runway appearance since giving birth to daughter Khai. She stuns in the first look of the show in austere black accented with a red handbag and blue eye makeup.
Her sister Bella Hadid, models including Precious Lee, Irina Shayk, Anok Yai walk the ramp dressed head to toe in the monogram. “Models are like actors, they bring the designs to life, just like when a performer portrays a character,” said Creative Director Donatella Versace in the show notes.

From gloves to bags, belts, blazers and party wear, the modern 3-D maze stamp of style is everywhere. Combined with the way the film is shot, and the unique runway, it makes for a mind-boggling combination indeed.
Etched onto every wearable piece of fashion, La Greca may be the brand’s way of competing with the LVs and Double Fs. Silhouettes of skimpy dresses in bold shades, structured jackets in muted tones, dominate the runway. Chunky heels and the print-on-print looks highlight the new collection’s mainstay.

“Despite living in a digital era of immediacy, taking time is crucial to form a genuine connection. This is what the present and future look like to me,” says Donatella of the collection.
