As a small summer treat from LuxeBook, we present to you easy-to-make, all-natural and ever so healthy and delicious smoothie recipes by Nitin Mathur, Executive Chef of Taj Santacruz and Abhishek Dhyani, Chef at IHCL’s Cidade De Goa Beach Resort.
Granola and fruit smoothie

Ingredients
1 banana (sliced)
1 medium apple (peeled & diced)
1/3 cup plain Greek yoghurt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
1 tbsp flax seed powder
1/2 cup granola
1/4 cup ice
Method
Crush granola coarsely in the blender. Add Greek yoghurt, soy milk, and honey to blend it well. Add rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Voila! Granola smoothie is ready.
Avocado super smoothie

Ingredients
1/2 cup of almond and walnuts
1½ – 2 cups of spinach leaves (chopped)
1 firm, ripe avocado
1½ cups almond milk
1 tbsp liquid apple syrup or honey
1tbsp sunflower seeds
1tbsp pumpkin seeds
Method
Add mixed nuts (almond and walnut), sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds in a blender and blend it well. Add spinach, avocado and soy milk in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add liquid apple syrup or honey and blend it for another 10 seconds. Pour into glasses and serve.
Peanut butter and honey oats smoothie

Ingredients
2 cups of rolled oats (pan-roasted)
½ cup yoghurt
1 cup almond milk
1 large banana
3tbsp peanut butter
2 tablespoons honey
1tbsp flax seed powder
Method
Place oats in blender and process. Pour milk into the blender and allow processed oats to soften in milk for about 2-3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Healthy mango coconut smoothie

Ingredients
1/4 cup oats
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup fresh mango
1/3 cup plain yoghurt
1 tbsp honey
1tbsp sunflower seeds
1/2 cup ice
Method
Dry roast oats in a pan and let it cool. Add pan-roasted oats in a blender and blend it well till the texture appears powdered. Place rest of the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Serve immediately.
Mango yoghurt smoothie

Ingredients
1 mango (peeled and diced)
1 cup yoghurt
1 cup ice
½ tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1tbsp pumpkin seeds
Method
Add yoghurt, lime juice and cinnamon powder in a blender and blend it well. Add rest of the ingredients in your blender and blend for 1-2 minute or until the mixture is smooth. Divide the potion in two cups and serve immediately.
Almond and spinach smoothie

Ingredients
200 ml milk
12-18 whole raw almonds
8-10 Fresh Spinach leaves
A pinch of cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and crushed black peppercorns.
Method
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
