COVID – 19 Rules to travel to the Maldives
A negative PCR test  for COVID-19 done not more than 72 hours prior to scheduled time of departure to the Maldives is mandatory.
The PCR test result should be submitted through the IMUGA portal within 24 hours prior to departure to the Maldives. In addition, the lab result should be presented in paper or electronic format during the airline check-in.
On return to India, you might have to take another PCR test, depending on the duration of the stay, and wait at the Indian airport until your test result comes in.
Another option is to get tested in the Maldives just before your flight to India. A PCR test there costs $150.
