Beauty has no expiration date, reads the Instagram bio of Jennifer Lopez’s new brainchild JLO Beauty. After the news of Lopez registering a trademark for JLO Beauty was revealed in 2019, her fans have been waiting to use the products.
This year, right in time for Christmas and New Year, Lopez’s fans are in for a treat. There’s plenty skincare and makeup in store for an age-defying glow.
The skin essentials include That JLO Glow serum, Limitless Glow mask, That Big Screen SPF30 moisturizer, Blockbuster Wonder cream, The Hit Single Gel-Creme cleanser, That Fresh Take eye cream and That Star Filter Complexion Booster.
JLO’s brand mantra is a holistic approach to beauty, stressing the combined significance of inner and outer glow. In a reveal video on social media, the 51-year old Lopez says that her secret to always-glowing skin is olive oil. “I’m a big olive oil person, so for me, that would be the basis of something that we could start with, for formulations and things like that.”
As for her 134 million followers on Instagram, they have frequently enjoyed her beauty looks from the red carpet that minimal yet ravishing!
One can sign up for early access to JLO Beauty’s website for pre-orders starting tomorrow, December 08. And the full range will officially be available starting January 2021.
JLO Beauty is, however, not the first time that the actress and the music icon, has tried her hands at a beauty-related venture. In 2003, Lopez launched Glow by JLO fragrance, which is still one of the most successful celebrity-fragrances in the industry. In 2018, she also signed a skincare and makeup collaboration with Inglot Cosmetics for a massive 71-products collection.
