While most photo shoots are put on hold in this lockdown, a few top photographers are thinking of creative ways to shoot their next editorial campaign or collection. Despite social distancing photographers like Pierre-Ange Carlotti, Willy Vanderperre and Brianna Capozzi have found a way to create content through FaceTime.
1) Jacquemus
Luxury brand Jacquemus shot its entire spring 2020 campaign ‘Jacquemus at home’ via FaceTime with supermodel Bella Hadid. Instead of a small army of stylists, hair and makeup artists, this campaign was shot with just the model, the photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti and designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.
2) Vogue Italia Magazine
Vogue Italia‘s April issue, featuring Bella Hadid, was shot and styled completely through FaceTime by Photographers Briannal Capozzi and Haley Wollens. The model styled her hair and did her make-up all by herself for this virtual photoshoot.
3) i-D Magazine
i-D magazine’s special project ‘Safe+Sound‘ features 19 supermodels from around the world. Photographer Willy Vanderperre talks to these models, including Gigi Hadid, Adut Akech and Binx Walton, on how they are staying safe during the pandemic.
4) Bustle Magazine
Bustle Magazine Interviewed the famous artist JoJo as her new album ‘Good to know’ is being released on 1st May 2020. The pictures for the article were photographed by Tory Rust.
5) Angelo Kritikos portfolio
Even Demi Lovato did a photoshoot at home. LA-based photographer Angelo Kritikos executed this creative idea by taking pictures of Lovato through FaceTime. Both the artist and photographer wanted to “inspire people to stay home and get creative”. AngeloKritikos.com
