Versace’s grand new store in Milan; the brand’s 10 best home décor products

Pratishtha Rana
Versace has opened doors to its new atelier in Milan, a city in Italy that has a rich history in art, design and luxury. At a time when consumer interest in home furnishing and décor has soared to new heights, this showroom marks Versace’s launch of an extravagant home collection in collaboration with Italian interior design firm Interni Spa.
Spread across 5,400 sq. feet, the store is designed by Milan-based architecture firm Vudafieri Saverino Partners. Inside, the atelier is organised into different, house-like spaces, where visitors can walk through an entrance hall, a dining room, perfectly aligned corridors, and a master suite – all decorated with Versace’s magnificent home collection.

Versace’s iconic design DNA that embraces patterns and symbols of Medusa, Greca, the ubiquitous gold and velvet accents, has been imbued with a fresh, vivid palette of yellow, grey, black, pink, red and ivory white.
It was in the early 1990s when Versace first introduced its luxury home décor line. Since then, its offerings have just gotten better. We take a look (with the risk of being forever lost in the world of Versace) at the best, bookmark-worthy furnishing and décor pieces that deserve a space in one’s luxury abode.
