Ever gotten the urge to play a game of pool while aboard a million-dollar yacht? Bugatti has got a limited-edition addition to your average nautical game room.
The French automobile maker released a new carbon fibre finish pool table with a special self-leveling technology for a perfect game of pool, even on an uneven surface. A servo-driven system deploys a gyroscopic sensor to level the table, and each leg adjusts automaticallyin just 5 milliseconds to compensate for any movement. Themotion is completed in vibration-free silence, which means you can’t blame the rough seas for your missed shot. The table is crafted in partnership with IXO (Iconic Xtrem Objects), a Spanish company that specializes in carbon composite construction.
All the minute details are taken care of, pockets made from stainless steel and lined with leather, fittings are complete with titanium screws and nuts to prevent corrosion from the salty air. The pool table is covered with the same leather that is used in its luxurious automobiles.
No game of Bugatti-branded pool is perfect without the official accessories including fibre pool cues, cue stick holder with a 13-inch touchscreen panel an anodized aluminum chalk box, cleaning brush, ceiling light, and a suitcase made in Bugatti leather to transport a set of Aramith Tournament Pro balls. For the ultimate luxury experience, buyers are also presented with a USB key, which has photos and videos of each table, showcasing the full history of the manufacturing of the table.
“It is our pleasure to be working with a manufacturing partner that mirrors the qualities of Bugatti. Through our shared values, we can be sure that the Bugatti Pool Table will be made with extremely high-quality materials, that the standard of the limited production will be very high, and that the technology used to make the product is advanced,” says Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti Automobiles.
