In the industry for over 35 years, their illustrious career and impressive portfolio makes them a force to reckon with. Having dressed the who’s who of India, they introduced local cuts and fabrics to the global market, and brought the best of traditional Indian crafts to the world of high fashion. Their most recent creation was a one-of-a-kind red carpet look for Deepika Padukone at the Cannes Film Festival 2022. The duo is known for reviving the art of chikankari in 1994, and, to date, are masters of the craft. Their eponymous label Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla was named so in 1989. The label, known for its exquisite embroideries and timeless garments, is coveted by celebrities across the globe. Over the years, the award-winning designers also have launched several diffusion labels such ASAL by Abu Sandeep (2016); an international fashion label, “The two important qualities in a leader are absolute resolve and Compassion.” Khosla Jani (2016); and a luxe pret-a-porter label, Gulabo by Abu Sandeep (2018). They also launched a furniture line in 1993 and have designed homes for many A-listers. The designers worked as creative directors on the design project of the T2 terminal in Mumbai.
